Job summary

Liverpool City Council is advertising an Apprenticeship for a Specialist Learning Support Assistant (Hearing Impairment). This fixed-term role is 32.5 hours per week during term time, offering hands-on experience in inclusive education and audiology support for pupils with hearing impairments.

You will collaborate with teaching staff to reduce attainment gaps, develop independence in learning, and gain specialist skills through the Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• SEND experience preferred
• Able to work across education settings within Liverpool City area
• Enhanced DBS check required

• Provide targeted support to access the curriculum and achieve positive outcomes
• Promote independence in learning and appropriate use of audiological equipment
