Kuehne+Nagel in the East Midlands Gateway is recruiting for an entry-level, 24-month Business Administration apprenticeship. You will learn to process bookings, support Sales Managers, and coordinate shipments with first-hand customer service experience.

The programme offers a starting salary of £15,600 in year one with a raise after 12 months, a structured mentor network, and career progression through hands-on training and study towards the Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs at grades 3–9 / A*-D including Maths & English
• Ability to multitask and be a self-starter
• Good planning and organization skills and customer service mindset
• Knowledge of Outlook and Excel is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process bookings from clients and overseas agents on to our system
• Provide operational support for the Sales Managers when required
• Liaise with relevant parties throughout shipments to organise movement of goods and ensure customer satisfaction
• Deal with issues during shipments and keep client and Sales Manager updated
• Process sales and purchase invoices for the branch
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in meetings and training sessions
• Make sales calls, engage and onboard new customers
• Attend customer offsite meetings
• Analyse sales performance statistics and prepare customer review meetings

How you create impact

Our 24-month Apprenticeship programme is designed to provide you with the perfect blend of practical on-the-job training and study towards the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

You’ll be learning how to…

• Efficiently process bookings from clients and overseas agents on to our system.

• Liaise with all relevant parties throughout shipments to organise the movement of goods by providing exceptional customer service ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
• Deal with any issues that may arise during a shipment and ensure the client and/or Sales Manager is updated
• Process sales and purchase invoices for the branch
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in meetings and training sessions
• Make sales calls, engage and onboard new customers
• Attend customer offsite meetings
• Analyse sales performance statistics and prepare/deliver customer review meetings

What we would like you to bring

The minimum entry requirement for this apprenticeship is Five GCSEs at grades 3 – 9 / A*-D including Maths & English)

Previous use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is beneficial.

Recruitment Process:

Step 1: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
