Euro Auctions is seeking an Apprentice Plant Fitter to join the workshop team at our Goole area site. You will support plant fitters, assist with inspections and maintenance of heavy equipment, and learn to operate safely within a busy workshop environment.
The role requires a hands-on attitude, basic mechanical understanding, and ongoing apprenticeship study. A valid driving licence is essential and the team offers a structured training path and supportive supervision.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm & pre auction weekend.

Key Activities:
Follow instruction from Plant Fitters and Workshop Manager.
To carry out inspections on plant & equipment under supervision.
Provide hands‑on support to fitters for maintenance and repair of equipment.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
The Person:
We highly value strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities for this role, given the fast-paced and dynamic nature of our workshop environment. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, possess a sound mechanical understanding, and be physically fit.

The Requirements
Essential Criteria:
Valid Driving Licence.
Currently studying a relevant apprenticeship.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an apprentice.
Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English.
Understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Previous experience working with heavy machinery or in a mechanical role.
