Job summary

Euro Auctions is seeking a Camera Operator with General Yard Duties to work outdoors at our Roall Ln site in Kellington. You will capture images and video of machinery for the website, help prepare stock for each sale, and assist with general yard operations.

Camera Operator with General Yard Duties

Reporting To: Auction Yard Manager.

Location: Roall Ln, Kellington, DN14 0NY.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm & 1 out of 6 weekends.

Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US and Canada. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.

Key Activities:

• Taking pictures and videos of machinery for our website.
• Assist other staff organising and preparing the yard for each sale.
• Preparation of stock pre-auction.
• Precise loading and unloading of machines.
• General yard duties

About the role

The Person:

This role is an active, outdoor job and requires someone with the ability to operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks. You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers as well as being physically fit to climb on and off machinery.

If you have a knowledge of heavy plant/mining/quarry equipment, then we especially want to hear from you.

The Requirements

Essential Criteria:

• Experience working in a Yard.
• Ability to take instruction as well as work on own initiative and follow Health & Safety legislation.
• Willingness to work regular overtime during busy auction periods.
• Good communication skills and fluent in English.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience working with plant and machinery would be an advantage.
