Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is offering an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant role in Milton Keynes. You will support daily pharmacy operations while undertaking the Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and complete the Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship program.
• Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the pharmacy while completing the apprenticeship.
• Assist in processing NHS and private prescriptions and stock control.
• Handle deliveries, stock storage, and expiry management.
• Deliver friendly customer service and answer OTC questions under guidance of a pharmacist.
• Prepare Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) and support services to care settings.
