Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice who will support day-to-day pharmacy operations and help customers while undertaking a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship. Training and full support are provided.

The role involves assisting with prescriptions, stock control, and using pharmacy systems in a busy environment. Typical working week is 33 hours over 4.5 days, with blended learning and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade A-C (4-9) or equivalent is desirable, training provided.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training will be provided as part of the course.
• Commitment to learning and completing the Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Support with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Help maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
