Cowards Pharmacy is offering an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant role, combining everyday store duties with structured apprenticeship training. You will work under the supervision of registered pharmacy professionals while learning dispensing, stock handling and customer service.

The programme covers NHS and private prescriptions, stock management, and patient advice, with regular college or training provider sessions.

Qualifications

• Enrolment in Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.
• Willingness to learn and complete training.
• Basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist dispensing of pharmaceutical products under SOPs and supervision.
• Support NHS and private prescription processing and submissions.
• Deliver high standards of customer service and advice on OTC products.
• Handle stock control, deliveries, and expiry date management.
• Support administration, till operations and general duties in-store.
