Job summary

Euro Commercials Fuso Canter in Swansea is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice to join the Parts department. You will attend college on block release and work toward a recognised apprenticeship qualification while gaining hands-on experience.

During the programme you will learn stock control, parts sales, and customer service within the Mercedes-Benz dealership, with scope to progress to future roles as you complete relevant qualifications and build practical expertise.

Qualifications

• Attend and complete the training course to gain the relevant apprenticeship qualification.
• Promote the sales of Manufacturers’ parts.
• Complete comprehensive practical training within the dealership.

Responsibilities

• To assist the parts personnel and department, in the control of all incoming stock, materials, returns and relevant paperwork.
• To maintain general tidiness of department.
• To assist in the efficient operation of the department.
• To receive, unload, identify and accurately check goods from suppliers and enter into stock.
• To report to seniors any discrepancies and damages.
• To ensure the security of all company property.
• To complete and update a work experience portfolio with the cooperation of the training assessor.
• To attend college on block release on a regular basis and to ensure a high standard of behaviour, attendance and conduct is maintained in line with Mercedes Benz expectation.
• To carry out any additional duties as requested and agreed.
• To ultimately learn all aspects of the parts department to include trade team and back counter parts sales.

Objectives
