Jewel Construction Limited invites applicants to join a career entry apprenticeship in property maintenance operative (Level 2). You will gain hands-on multi-trade skills across residential and commercial properties, supported by training at Sheffield College campuses.

You will learn brickwork, joinery, plastering, dry lining and related trades, with a clear path to sustainable full-time employment based on performance and successful completion of the programme.

Formación

• Apprenticeship Level 2 in property maintenance with end point assessment.
• Training occurs at Sheffield College campuses (City & ACT).
• On-site training across multiple trades with real client work.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out brickwork, joinery, plastering, dry lining and other maintenance tasks.
• Assist with plumbing, tiling, flooring and guttering as part of site works.
• Build and repair construction elements, record paperwork and demonstrate health and safety practices.
• Demonstrate customer service skills and contribute to a positive client experience.

A career entry role to develop valuable multi trade building and specialist construction industry skills, working across a wide range of client's residential and commercial properties.

Tasks will include brick work, joinery, plastering, dry lining and other maintenance and repair tasks.

Reporting to the business owner your daily duties will include building and construction processes such as:

• Brickwork
• Plumbing
• Tiling
• Joinery
• Plastering
• Flooring
• Guttering
• Dry lining and skimming
• Maintenance and repair tasks
• Manage and record paperwork

Full clean driving licence with own transport would be advantageous

Demonstrate the importance of customer service

Understand and demonstrate the importance of health and safety in the workplace

Sustainable full-time employment prospects subject to performance evaluation and successful completion of the apprenticeship.

About the Training

Apprenticeship Standard Property Maintenance Operative Level 2 including end point assessment over different vocational disciplines.

Attend Sheffield College Campus both City (S2 2RL) and Advanced Technology Centre (S2 3DH) for specific training over the duration of the programme.
