Jewel Construction Limited in Sheffield invites an apprentice to develop essential multi-trade building and specialist construction skills through hands-on work across residential and commercial properties.

Expect to perform brick work, joinery, plastering and other maintenance tasks while training with Sheffield College toward a Property maintenance operative (level 2) qualification. A 2-year placement with regular college attendance is planned.

Qualificações

• Apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or training organisation.
• At least 20% of working hours spent training or studying.
• Full clean driving licence with own transport would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• As an apprentice, you’ll work at Jewel Construction Limited and gain hands-on experience.
• Your daily duties include brick work, plumbing, tiling, joinery, plastering, flooring, guttering, dry lining and skimming, maintenance and repair tasks, and recording paperwork.
• Report to the business owner and support construction processes across a range of trades.

A career entry role to develop valuable multi trade building and specialist construction industry skills, working across a wide range of client's residential and commercial properties.

Tasks will include brick work, joinery, plastering, dry lining and other maintenance and repair tasks.

Annual wage: £15,600 a year

Hours
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm30 Mins unpaid lunch break.These times can change dependent upon the weather and specific working environments.
37.5 hours a week

Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you'll do at work
