Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Ellesmere Port offers an Apprentice Lifting Engineer position as part of our three-year training programme, combining on-site learning with block placements at college providers. You will be trained by experienced colleagues and gain hands-on experience to become a fully qualified engineer.

During years 1 and 2 you will complete a Level 3 Lifting Technician apprenticeship with EPA, and year 3 ends with our in-house lifting training.

Qualifications

• GCSE 4/5 in English and Maths or Level 2 Functional Skills required.
• Willing to learn and develop through a 3-year training programme.

Responsibilities

• Based in Ellesmere Port learning from experienced engineers and practicing skills.
• Complete Level 3 Lifting Technician apprenticeship and in-house lifting training by year 3.
