Job summary

Stannah is recruiting ambitious Apprentice Lift Engineers to join the Maintenance and Repair division. You will shadow qualified engineers, attend distance learning and training sessions, and cover routes across Leicester, Nottingham and Derby.

This 40‑month programme lets you earn while you learn, with a starting salary of £17,679 that is reviewed based on performance. A comprehensive benefits package includes profit share, Simply Health, 25 days holiday, a matched pension, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (grades 4-9).
• Interest in engineering or practical experience in a related role.
• Willingness to learn and develop through training and on‑the‑job learning.
• Valid driving licence or working towards one.

• Shadow qualified engineers assisting with servicing and repair of lifts.
• Attend distance learning courses and complete coursework on time and to a high standard.
• Attend training and mentoring sessions, both in person and online.
• Participate in at least 20% off‑the‑job training.
• Demonstrate the aptitude and behaviours of a future Stannah Lift Engineer.

Stannah is looking to recruit ambitious Apprentice Lift Engineers to join our Maintenance and Repair division. You will cover a route acrossLeicester, Nottingham and Derby .

This a great opportunity to earn, whilst you learn and continue your education. You will receive a starting salary of £17,679 which will be reviewed regularly based on performance. Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00 - 4.45 and Friday8.00 - 3.45

Training and Development:

• Duration of 40 months
• A mix of practical, mentoring and structured learning at our training centre.
• You will achieve a qualification in Lift Engineering
• Achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 - 9 (A-C) passes in Maths, English
• Have a keen interest in engineering or practical experience working in a related role.
• A valid driving licence or working towards
