Job summary

OPmobility in the United Kingdom is offering a Lean manufacturing operative apprenticeship (Level 2). You will train in the paint mix room, injection or material handling areas and join a hands-on engineering team.

The program runs for about 1 year 2 months, with rotating shifts: 7:30am–5:30pm Mon–Thu and 10:30pm–7:30am, or a 3-shift pattern 6:00am–2:00pm, 2:00pm–10:00pm, 10:00pm–6:00am. Training provided by North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College.

Qualifications

• Essential - GCSE English (4+).
• Essential - GCSE Maths (4+).
• Essential - GCSE Science (4+).

Responsibilities

• Operate injection moulding processes following safety rules (HSE, LO TO).
• Assist injection team in machine start-up, monitoring and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and keep area clean and tidy.
