Job summary

Training is provided by NORTH WARWICKSHIRE AND SOUTH LEICESTERSHIRE COLLEGE, with rotating shifts and a 1 year 2 months duration. An opportunity to progress within the business is offered.

Qualifications

• Essential GCSE English grade 4 or above.
• Essential GCSE Maths grade 4 or above.
• Essential GCSE Science grade 4 or above.

Responsibilities

• Support technical teams in paint mix room, injection, or material handling.
• Follow health and safety requirements.
• Prepare materials and equipment.
• Eliminate small technical problems.
• May relieve fellow team members for their breaks.
• Ensure reuse of grinding stock.
• Report malfunctions, defects or hazards to supervisor.
• Change material supply according to production plan.
• Address material feed supply problems to avoid downtime.
• Maintain raw material storage standards.

Depending on the area you will be working as part of our technical team in the paint mix room, injection or material handling area.

What You'll Do

• Supporting the technical teams depending on the area in either: paint mix room or setting team in injection or material handling area
• Following H&S requirements
• Preparation of materials, equipment
• Eliminates small technical problems
• May relieve fellow team members for their breaks
• Ensures reuse of grinding stock
• Reports any malfunction and defects or hazards to superior forthwith
• Change material supply according to the production plan
• React to any material feed supply problems to ensure there is no production down time to material feed issues
• The Raw material storage tent 5’s Standards are to be maintained by all material handlers
