Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd. is recruiting an apprentice for the Jones Lighting team in Sefton to gain real hands-on experience from day one. You will work on street lighting, ICP works, DNO contractor services and LV overhead line tasks, under supervision and with a tailored training plan.

The role involves on-site installation, safety compliance, testing and fault finding, and potential site travel. You will undertake a Level 3 apprenticeship with supported study and regular tutor coaching.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at Grade 9-4/A*-C including English and Mathematics.
• Level 2 Electrical Qualification.
• Good organisation, time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Electrical & Highway Installation: install, maintain, test and repair low-voltage highway electrical equipment.
• Site Safety & Compliance: follow NHSS8 and HERS standards on site.
• Testing & Fault Finding: assist with verification, inspection and fault diagnosis.
• Emergency Attendance: participate in emergency call-outs and repair work with experienced staff.
