Job summary

J McCann & Co Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our site team. You will carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and testing in line with safety standards.

You will work on street lighting and street furniture projects, hold NVQ Level 3, and carry ECS/CSCS cards. A driver’s license is desirable, and you’ll join a collaborative, safety-conscious team with opportunities to develop.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a qualified Electrician working on Street Lighting and Street Furniture.
• Hold relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation) and a valid ECS or CSCS card.
• City & Guilds Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations 2391.
• Sound understanding of current electrical regulations (BS 7671).
• Strong dedication to safety and adhering to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Installations: Carry out installations in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Routine maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
• Testing: Electrical testing and inspection to ensure safety and compliance.
• Documentation: Complete electrical certification and documentation accurately.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Any other duties as required for electrical works.
