Job summary

Thomas Nagy Ltd. in Watford is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to gain practical, hands-on experience while training toward a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (NVQ & Diploma) through an approved provider.

You’ll work with experienced electricians on installation, testing, maintenance and safety across highways, rail and commercial sectors, with mentorship and structured progression to a permanent role upon qualification.

Qualifications

• Enrolled on approved Level 3 Electrical Installation apprenticeship program.
• Full UK driving licence preferred or transport to sites.
• Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians with installation, testing and maintenance.
• Prepare tools, materials and work areas for daily tasks.
• Carry out supervised electrical duties such as containment installation, cable pulling and terminations.
• Follow site Health & Safety procedures and help maintain tidy work environments.
• Attend college/training sessions and complete coursework and assessments.
• Take responsibility for learning and skill development.
• Support the team in maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance with BS7671.

As an Apprentice Electrician, you’ll gain practical, hands‑on experience while training towards your Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (NVQ & Diploma) through an approved provider.
