Job summary

Thomas Nagy Ltd is seeking a proactive Highways Electrician to join our growing team in Watford. You will work across highways, rail, and specialist electrical sectors, delivering street lighting installations, column installs, SWA terminations, ANPR systems, and rail lighting projects.

A strong safety focus and flexibility for night work are essential. The role offers ongoing training, career progression, and a company van with fuel card, laptop, and health and dental care.

Qualifications

• Operatives with street-lighting or highways experience are preferred.
• Hold G39 and IPAF certifications.
• Have HERS ECS card and 18th Edition electrical qualification.
• NVQ Level 3 in Highways Electrical Systems is highly desirable.
• JIB Gold Card and a 7.5T licence with HIAB are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Street lighting installations, isolator works, and lantern conversions.
• Column installs and SWA terminations (25mm+ desirable).
• ANPR camera systems and other highways electrical infrastructure.
• Rail lighting and other electrical works across diverse environments.

• Operative with Street-lighting or Highways experience.
• G39 and IPAF certifications.

• Experience working on motorways (desirable).
