Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in Manchester. You’ll take on a full-time kitchen role under the supervision of passionate chefs while you train. The apprenticeship runs for 15 months and includes a nationally recognised qualification and on‑the‑job training.

This pathway supports running kitchens, creating moments of quality for guests, and developing comprehensive culinary skills with a robust support system.

Qualifications

• You should have a passion for cooking and be proud to work with us.

Responsibilities

• Communicate openly with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Contribute to team meetings with your insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standard.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Keep the kitchen and back-of-house areas clean and tidy with great attention to detail.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep.
• Keep up to date with promotions and new products.
• Complete all training modules and e-learning.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and all company policies.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
