Mitchells & Butlers PLC is offering a full-time Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in the kitchen. You will be trained to prepare, cook and present meals, while learning under experienced chefs and earning a formal qualification.

The program runs for 15 months with a full-time operative role and ongoing support from mentors. A strong focus on safety, quality, and guest satisfaction is emphasized throughout the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with the team to ensure outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standard.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Keep kitchen and back of house clean and organized.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep.
• Keep up to date with promotions and new products.
• Engage in all training modules and learning activities.
• Follow brand standards, licensing laws and company policies.
• Complete all required documentation and records.
