Job summary

Vines Group is recruiting a December 2026 Motorcycle Technician Apprentice. You’ll learn hands-on with BMW motorcycles, start from day one, and earn while you train. The programme progresses toward IMI Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas with support from experienced mentors.

Interviews in early November 2026; start December 2026, with Plas Menai training and BMW Academy sessions. A pathway to a professional career in motorcycle servicing awaits.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C (9–4) or equivalent, plus one other subject.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and curiosity for cars and motorcycles.
• Willingness to learn and put in effort throughout the programme.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on with BMW motorcycles from day one.
• Service, maintain and repair motorcycles with guidance from mentors.
• Learn diagnostics using BMW equipment and tools.
• Train toward IMI Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas during the apprenticeship.

Earn while you learn

• Year 1: £18,000
• Year 2: £24,000
• Year 3: £30,000 + bonus potential

What You’ll Be Doing

Get hands-on with the latest BMW motorcycles!

As an Apprentice Motorcycle Technician at Vines, you won’t just watch from the sidelines — you’ll get hands-on experience from day one!

What will your learn?

• Service, maintain and repair BMW motorcycles.
  Use specialist tools and advanced diagnostic equipment.
  Identify faults and learn how to fix them.
• Work alongside experienced technicians who’ll help you develop your skills.

Train with the technology of tomorrow

Get to grips with the latest BMW technology, including digital systems, modern engines and emerging electrification technologies.

No two days are the same!

You could be working on customer motorcycles, using BMW diagnostic systems or learning new techniques in the workshop.

By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have the practical skills, technical knowledge and qualifications to kick-start your career as a professional motorcycle technician!

• At least one other subject at the same level
