14 month Fixed Term Contract – Apprenticeship
We welcome applications from individuals wishing to become an Apprentice and gain experience in the NHS. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team gaining valuable work experience and a recognised apprenticeship qualification. You will be enrolled with a local education provider and will be required to complete your L2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard qualification within the duration of the placement.
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to support the Healthy Futures Team in Paediatrics at the NNUH.
The clinic provides a holistic service that considers bio-psychosocial factors when offering treatment for comorbidities related to severe obesity.
This post would be ideally suited to someone that is looking to start a career in Administration. We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic, works well under pressure, is friendly and approachable and can prioritise their own workload. This role will be fully supported; however there may be a small amount of time that working without supervision is required.
This post will be required to work alongside the Band 4 Medical Secretary to provide comprehensive support to the Senior Management Team and other relevant staff within the department. This will be through supporting the MDT, administering electronic and paper records, typing and other admin tasks.
The post holder’s main responsibilities will include dealing with telephone enquiries, recording referrals on our electronic system, booking appointments, organising patient’s notes in order to ensure our clinics run smoothly, photocopying, filing and general office duties.
