Mistral AI is seeking a Technical Lead, Applied AI to drive the technical strategy, execution, and delivery of complex AI solutions for our enterprise customers. - Fluent English is required.
- PhD or Master’s degree in AI, ML, CS or related field.
- 7/8+ years in AI/ML with 2+ years in technical leadership.
- Proven track record leading teams on complex AI projects.
- Deep expertise in fine‑turning LLMs, RAG, and NLP deployment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on code and de‑risk critical project components.
- Lead Applied AI Engineer teams with mentorship and best practices.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Design complex AI systems including fine‑tuning, RAG, agentic workflows.
- Drive innovation by evaluating new tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with product, research, and engineering to incorporate feedback.
