Job summary

KLA is seeking an Applications Technical Trainer to lead training for SPTS process applications, develop structured courses, and support field engineers and customers. The role involves international travel, collaboration with multimedia teams for online content, and updating training materials.

Ideal candidates have experience with semiconductor vacuum equipment and strong instructional design skills, with a PhD/MSc preferred and a willingness to travel globally.

Qualifications

• Experience of applications techniques with semiconductor vacuum equipment.
• PhD/MSc in science or related subject desirable; Bachelor's with related experience considered.
• Proficient in instructional techniques and design.

Responsibilities

• Teach applications principles to employees and customers in service classes.
• Develop structured training courses and BKMs to meet field needs.
• Deliver customer training at KLA facilities or site with international travel.
• Collaborate with multimedia to develop online training and AR/VR content.
• Provide first-level technical support and maintain curriculum standards.
• Format, revise, and write new training documents.
