Job summary

RedRock Resourcing is seeking an Applications Specialist to support and develop a portfolio of business systems across the organisation in the Midlands. You will work with technical teams and end users to deliver real business value, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive system improvements.

The role offers exposure to a wide range of technologies, with a collaborative IT team and an excellent benefits package described. You will be contributing to security, reliability and ongoing integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise or line-of-business applications.
• Proficient in SQL and data querying.
• Experience with APIs and systems integration.
• Familiar with ITSM tools such as Jira, Helix or ServiceNow.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot applications.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and enhance core business applications.
• Investigate and resolve complex application issues.
• Deliver system upgrades, releases and configuration changes.
• Collaborate with third-party software providers and stakeholders.
• Assist with integrations and data management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the applications estate.
• Produce technical documentation and share best practice.
• Ensure systems remain secure, reliable and fit for business needs.
