Job summary

RedRock Resourcing is seeking an Applications Specialist to support and develop a portfolio of business systems across the organisation in the Midlands. You will work with technical teams and end users to deliver real business value, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive system improvements.

The role offers exposure to a wide range of technologies, with a collaborative IT team and an excellent benefits package described. You will be contributing to security, reliability and ongoing integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise or line-of-business applications.
• Proficient in SQL and data querying.
• Experience with APIs and systems integration.
• Familiar with ITSM tools such as Jira, Helix or ServiceNow.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot applications.

I'm currently working with a well-established organisation in the Midlands that is looking to appoint an experienced Applications Specialist to support and develop a portfolio of business systems used across the organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, improving business applications and working closely with both technical teams and end users to deliver real business value.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting, maintaining and enhancing a range of core business applications
• Investigating and resolving complex application issues
• Delivering system upgrades, releases and configuration changes
• Working with third-party software providers and internal stakeholders
• Assisting with application integrations and data management
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the applications estate
• Producing technical documentation and sharing best practice
• Ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and fit for business needs
