My client is looking for a Applications platform manager to lead their applications team to oversee the management and optimisation of the organisations application portfolio based in their Central London office.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of application specialists, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external development partners.
- Platform & Operations Management:Manage and optimise the application portfolio to align with business objectives.
- Document Management System:Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the document management system to ensure efficient document handling and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Data Integration:Collaborate with the Data Management team to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Development Partners:Collaborate with external development partners to scale and enhance the development function, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and best practices.
- Robotics and Automation:Identify and implement robotics and automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Act as the technical bridge between infrastructure, security, applications, and external vendors, supporting security and compliance initiatives.
You will have the following:
- Proven experience in managing application portfolios, preferably within a legal or professional services environment
- Experience in scaling DevOps functions and implementing robotics and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for optimiSation and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects and deliver results within set timelines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to train and support staff in the adoption and use of new technologies and processes.
