Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an Applications Engineer (Inside IR35) based in Stafford to lead project control activities globally and drive consistent specifications and processes for client implementations.

The role requires coordinating a team, providing technical leadership across proposals, cost estimation, and engineering partners, and balancing workloads to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical leader to develop scope of work and plan schedule for customer projects.
• Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, Product Engineering, Sourcing, Engineering sub-contractors.
• Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline.
• Understand how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Coordination of daily work within the team.
• Balancing the team’s workload, so that customer requirements are met.
• Defines priorities with the sales team.

• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
