Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced professional to join a high‑performing project team in contract management, with oversight of subcontracting, quantity surveying, and commercial management across multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires a proactive, go‑getter attitude, strong communication across levels, and a detail‑driven approach. It is a 12‑month contract, inside IR35, offering hybrid working from Birmingham or Stone.

Qualifications

• Experience in subcontract management/Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management.
• Demonstrated success working effectively within team environments.
• Previous experience of Contract Management/Quantity Surveying/ CommercialManagement.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and experience working cross‑functionally as a key member of a project team.
• Proactive, analytical, and creative approach to continuous improvement in subcontract procurement.
• High level of independence, requiring minimal supervision from senior management.
• Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risk.
• Exceptional organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative.
