Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced professional for a contract management/quantity surveying role, working within a high-performing project team. This hybrid role is based in the Birmingham or Stone area and sits inside IR35 on a 12-month basis.

The ideal candidate will be commercially aware, detailed, and capable of efficiently managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive, go-getter attitude and strong cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in subcontract management/Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation.
• Proactive, analytical, and creative approach to continuous improvement in subcontract procurement.
• Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risk.

We’re looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in contract management to join a high‑performing project team. This role will suit someone commercially aware, detail‑driven, and confident managing multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.

Its important that the right candidate has a Go-Getter attitude, this role requries somebody to be very proactive working across the different teams, isnt affraid to ask questions and fully involves themselves in the projects being worked on

Previous experience of Contract Management/Quantity Surveying/ CommercialManagement
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation

High level of independence, requiring minimal supervision from senior management
