The role will involve production support, incident resolution, defect analysis, minor enhancements, and coordination with development and infrastructure teams.The successful candidate should have strong experience supporting legacy web applications and be comfortable working with frontend technologies such as jQuery.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 and Level 3 application support.Analyse and resolve production incidents, service requests, and application defects.Troubleshoot issues across the presentation, business, data-access layers and database.Support applications developed using: ASP.NET MVC Framework, .NET 10, jQuery and SQL Server.Investigate application logs, stack traces, database issues, and integration failures.Perform root-cause analysis and prepare permanent fixes or workarounds.Develop minor enhancements, bug fixes, and configuration changes.Support REST-based integrations and troubleshoot API-related issues.Collaborate with development, database, infrastructure, and business teams.Participate in incident, problem, and change-management related meetings and processes.Prepare technical documentation, knowledge articles and support procedures.Participate in on-call or shift-based support, if required.Mandatory SkillsStrong experience with ASP.NET MVC Framework.Strong experience of development using jQuery and SQL ServerGood experience with .NET 10Strong knowledge of C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScriptExpert in ServiceNow usage or other ITSM toolsExperience troubleshooting web applications in production.Understanding of MVC architecture, session management, authentication, and authorization.Expertise in SQL and relational databases.Experience with debugging tools, application logs, and performance analysis.Good incident-management and communication skills.Secondary SkillsFamiliarity with Knockout.js.Good understanding of Insurance domain.REST and SOAP web services.IIS administration and deployment troubleshooting.Entity Framework or equivalent ORM technology.Windows services and scheduled jobs.Azure DevOps, TFS, or similar source-control and deployment tools.Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or equivalent.Knowledge on Razor Pages or Razor-based views.Familiarity with Angular.Experience and Qualifications5 to 8 years of experience in ASP.NET MVC Framework application development or application support.Experience supporting enterprise applications in production.Experience working in ITIL-based support environments.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
