Job summary

Falconsmartit in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Developer to maintain and enhance enterprise applications built using ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework and SQL Server. You will work across the development lifecycle, including impact analysis, defect analysis and technical debt, coordinating with development and infrastructure teams.

The role requires strong experience with legacy web apps and frontend Tech like jQuery and Razor Pages, and a proven track record in agile Scrum/Kanban environments.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in ASP.NET MVC Framework development or support.
• Strong experience with jQuery, SQL Server and Razor Pages / Razor views.
• Proficient in .NET Framework and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Enhance applications using ASP.NET MVC Framework, .NET Framework, Razor Pages, jQuery and SQL Server.
• Analyse, design, develop and unit test for minor changes and defects.
• Work across presentation, business, data-access layers and database.
• Investigate logs, stack traces, database issues and integration failures.
• Support REST-based integrations and troubleshoot API issues.
• Collaborate with support, database, infrastructure and business teams.
• Participate in agile ceremonies in Scrum and Kanban environments.
• Prepare technical documentation and support procedures.
