Job title: Application Support Associate

Location: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: £42,850+ depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:
  • Provide application administration support, including user account creation, password resets, access changes, and audit‑related tasks across multiple business‑critical systems
  • Manage service operations by triaging, assigning, and tracking incidents and service requests, working closely with resolver teams and escalating issues when required
  • Monitor application performance and service health, produce regular reports, support change and release activities, and contribute to ongoing service improvements
  • Work within a structured IT Service Management (ITSM) framework, collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain stable applications and meet regulatory and compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation, including support guides, configuration records, and issue logs
Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Ability to provide technical, application, or operational support within an IT or business environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).
  • Awareness of ITIL Concepts and ticket lifecycle management

Desirable:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with users, developers, and senior teams.
