Job summary

ASC Connections Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Applications Engineer in the West Midlands. The role offers a salary of £40,000-£45,000 and involves programming, process development, machine testing, commissioning and customer support.

International travel is possible, and the position is permanent and full-time. You will work across programming, process development, machine testing and customer support, moving beyond traditional production CNC work.

Qualifications

• Good practical engineering and problem-solving ability.

Join an established engineering business offering an opportunity for an experienced CNC professional to move into a varied Applications Engineer position. This role would suit someone with strong CNC programming and setting experience who enjoys solving technical problems and wants more variety than a traditional production-based CNC position.

You’ll work across programming, process development, machine testing, commissioning and customer support, with opportunities to travel internationally as part of the role. Based in the West Midlands, this is a permanent position offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000.

CNC Applications Engineer Responsibilities

• Comfortable dealing directly with customers and explaining technical information.
• Willing and able to travel internationally when required.
• Previous applications, commissioning or customer-facing experience would be beneficial but isn't essential for someone with the right CNC background.

CNC Applications Engineer Benefits
