ASC Connections in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced CNC Applications Engineer to join an established engineering business. The role blends hands-on CNC programming with applications engineering, process development, machine testing and customer support across international sites.

• Strong CNC programming and setting experience.
• Experience working with multi-axis CNC machinery.
• Confident reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances.
• Good practical engineering and problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable dealing directly with customers and explaining technical information.

Join an established engineering business offering an opportunity for an experienced CNC professional to move into a varied Applications Engineer position. This role would suit someone with strong CNC programming and setting experience who enjoys solving technical problems and wants more variety than a traditional production-based CNC position.

You’ll work across programming, process development, machine testing, commissioning and customer support, with opportunities to travel internationally as part of the role. Based in the West Midlands, this is a permanent position offering a salary of 40,000 - 45,000.

CNC Applications Engineer Responsibilities
