Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking an AOG Specialist in the United Kingdom to directly engage customers, resolve issues, and support sales colleagues. You will monitor shipments, update customers, and investigate deviations while ensuring compliance with standards.

The role operates on a 4 on/4 off shift (10:00–22:00). The ideal candidate will have freight forwarding/transport planning experience (airfreight focus), strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or transport planning (airfreight focus) preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and good communication skills.
• Ability to understand and execute new processes.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge (especially Excel).
• Respect confidentiality and compliance regulations.
• Ability to work independently in a team.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively advise and consult customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor customer shipments, provide proactive updates and cover customs activities.
• Document, investigate and conduct root cause analysis on deviations.
• Manage tasks through BPA tools to track progress.
• Transfer customer requirements into KN systems for accurate cost control.
• Field complaint calls and resolve problems.
• Conduct claims management and assistance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company, industry and legal standards and support audits.
