Recruit Engineering in Denham is seeking an Anodising Operative to join its aerospace-focused surface finishing team. The role involves operating anodising lines, jigging, masking, inspecting surfaces to aerospace standards, and handling process chemicals.

You should have a manufacturing or engineering background, experience in anodising or related processes, strong attention to detail, and COSHH awareness.

• Masking critical features such as bores, slots and edges.
• Deburring and finishing components to tight tolerances.
• Working with small, detailed parts requiring good dexterity.
• Working from engineering drawings.
• Following strict quality and safety processes.

Denham | C. £41,150 | Permanent | Double Days

A globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham is looking to add an Anodising Operative to its expanding surface finishing department.

This role would suit someone with hands‑on experience in anodising, passivation or phosphating.

The work involves small, detailed metallic components and is well suited to someone from a manufacturing or engineering background who values accuracy, consistency and long‑term progression in a stable environment.

The role

• Operating manual or automated anodising lines
• Jigging, masking and plugging components prior to processing
• Inspecting finished surfaces to aerospace quality standards
• Working with process chemicals to defined specifications
• Operating vibratory finishing and barrel tumbling equipment
• Preparing surfaces ahead of anodising or passivation
• Masking critical features such as bores, slots and edges
• Deburring and finishing components to tight tolerances
• Working with small, detailed parts requiring good dexterity
• Working from engineering drawings
• Following strict quality and safety processes.

What's on offer

• £37,000 base salary, plus 22.5% shift allowance every second week
• £3,000 signing bonus, paid within the first year
• Double day shifts: Earlies 06:00-14:00 Mon-Thu / 06:00-12:00 Fri, Afters 13:45-22:00 Mon-Thu / 11:45-15:00 Fri
