Recruit Engineering is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer for a permanent role in Denham, working on aerospace components with strict quality standards.

You will apply primers, topcoats and coatings to engineering parts, read drawings, ensure COSHH compliance, manage stock using SAP, and operate curing ovens. The role offers a £37,000 base with a 22.5% shift allowance and a £3,000 signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in spray painting within manufacturing/engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good manual dexterity and strong eye for detail.
• Understanding of H&S procedures and COSHH regulations.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using hand tools.
• Willingness to work double day shifts.
• GCSEs in Maths and English (A–C).

Responsabilités

• Mask components to precise requirements.
• Set and operate curing ovens to specified temperatures and durations.
• Inspect finished work; measure paint thickness and gloss levels.
• Unmask and touch up components as required.
• Maintain spray booth equipment, pumps and machinery.
• Manage stock levels on SAP and ensure batch traceability.

Paint Sprayer - Manufacturing - £3k Signing Bonus

Denham | C. £41,150 | Permanent | Double Days

We're recruiting an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham. This is industrial manufacturing spray work on safety-critical aviation components — not automotive body repair — so precision and consistency matter more than speed.

The Role

• Applying primers, topcoats, lacquers and specialist coatings (including dry film lubricants) to engineering components using spray guns
• Working to technical specifications and engineering drawings
• Masking components using tapes, plugs and bungs to precise requirements
• Setting and operating curing ovens to specified temperatures and durations
• Inspecting finished work — visual checks plus measuring paint thickness and gloss levels
• Unmasking and touching up components as required
• Maintaining spray booth equipment, pumps and machinery
• Managing stock levels on SAP and ensuring batch traceability

What We're Looking For

• Proven spray painting experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (automotive body shop experience won't be a fit here)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Good manual dexterity and a sharp eye for detail
• Understanding of H&S procedures and COSHH regulations
• Basic IT skills and confidence using hand tools
• Flexibility to work double day shifts
• GCSEs (A-C) in Maths and English
