Syntech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Anodiser to join a leading aerospace and defence manufacturer near Uxbridge. The role involves carrying out anodising, surface preparation and metal finishing to meet strict specifications.

You will work on double day shifts, with rotating weeks and a total salary around £45,325 per year, including a 22.5% shift allowance. Excellent pension, healthcare, and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in anodising, metal finishing or chemical surface treatment processes.
• Experience handling industrial process chemicals.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures, especially COSHH.

Aufgaben

• Operate manual and automated anodising equipment and production lines.
• Carry out anodising, passivation, phosphating and other metal finishing processes.
• Prepare components for surface treatment, including masking, bunging and jigging.
• Operate barrel tumbling, vibratory finishing and deburring equipment.
• Prepare metallic surfaces for anodising and other chemical treatments.
• Protect holes, bores and other critical areas during finishing operations.
• Inspect finished components against drawings and quality standards.
• Handle process chemicals safely, following COSHH regulations.

Shift Pattern: Double Days - Rotating Weekly

Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm

Week 2: 1:45pm - 10:00pm

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out anodising, surface preparation and metal finishing processes, ensuring components meet strict engineering specifications and quality standards.

• Operate manual and automated anodising equipment and production lines.
• Carry out anodising, passivation, phosphating and other metal finishing processes.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in anodising, metal finishing or chemical surface treatment processes.
• Experience working with industrial process chemicals.
• A background in manufacturing, engineering or precision component production.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions.Good understanding of health and safety procedures, particularly COSHH regulations.
