Capel Manor College is seeking a Laboratory and Resource Technician for the Enfield campus to manage the science laboratory, prepare equipment, and support animal management and other practical activities.

The role emphasizes maintaining a safe laboratory environment, producing risk assessments, and upholding COSHH/CLEAPS requirements, with opportunities to contribute to conservation and research programs.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or higher in an animal science/chemistry discipline.
• Experience working with a variety of equipment in a science laboratory.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the science laboratory at the Enfield campus.
• Prepare equipment and materials to support Animal Management and other subjects.
• Maintain COSHH/LEAPs records and ensure a safe laboratory environment.
