Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in health and safety practice, COSHH regulations and CLEAPSS guidance as they apply to laboratory work
• Accurate and methodical, with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage a varied workload and respond calmly to changing priorities
• A confident communicator, able to work effectively with teaching staff and pupils
• Committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and materials for lessons, maintain laboratories and preparation rooms
• Provide practical support to the Science Department on a day-to-day basis.
• All technical work is carried out in accordance with CLEAPSS guidance and COSHH regulations.
• Build effective professional relationships across the school community.
