Job summary

The Jane Lane School in Walsall is seeking an Ancillary Cleaner on a permanent post. You will help maintain a clean, safe learning environment across the Jane Lane site, with a 39-week year at 10 hours per week and G2 Scale 4-6.

Applicants should be physically fit, able to work in a team, and flexible with hours, including potential deeper cleans during school shutdowns. Training will be provided where needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning and maintenance to keep the learning environment clean, tidy, hygienic and safe.

Castle Lane Federation is a MLD, age range 5-18, Special School in Walsall and are looking to appoint a reliable, flexible and practical individual at our Jane Lane site.

The successful candidate will support our school in providing a clean, tidy, hygienic, safe and well maintained, learning environment.

The successful candidate will need to be:

• fit and able to cope with the physical demands of the job;
• possess good individual and team skills;
• be flexible with hours;
• be ready to deal with a variety of situations and challenges.

Appropriate training will be provided where required.

The successful candidate will be required to work as and when the school requires a deeper clean during school shutdown periods.
