Job summary

Wise in London is seeking an Analytics Engineering Director to lead the Analytics Engineering team within Servicing. You will scale the function, partnering with Engineering, Product and Analytics leaders to drive data-informed decisions across multiple domains.

You will own core datasets, set data modelling standards, and champion new tooling including AI applications. The role includes RSUs, flexible working and extensive benefits as part of Wise's commitment to its people.

Qualifications

• Track record of creating and implementing long-term strategic projects (2+ years).
• Strong empathy for stakeholders and internal customers.
• Excellent data storytelling with actionable narratives.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python; architecture review.
• Experience building analytics pipelines and data models.
• Roadmap ownership for BI tooling and data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Scale an existing team from 8 to 20+ in 12 months while maintaining growth.
• Define and implement data strategy with Eng, Product and Analytics leads.
• Ensure trustable, discoverable core datasets and context enrichment.
• Advocate new tooling and AI applications; drive rollout and metrics.
• Drive data modelling best practices across the tribe for cost efficiency.
