Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a BI Engineer to join the Core BI team in London, with a hybrid setup (typically 3 days in the office). You will own the models, systems and automation behind our BI platforms, collaborating with data, software and product teams to scale trusted data for the business.

You will contribute to governance, platform migrations and self-serve tooling, helping shape a unified BI platform across DoorDash, the company and Wolt. Strong Python, SQL, and LookML expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in business intelligence engineering or similar data role.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with experience using AI tools to accelerate work.
• Hands-on experience with Looker (LookML) or Sigma and BI platforms.
• Experience with semantic/metrics layers and production-grade workflows.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate models, systems and automation for BI platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and PMs to deliver self-service BI.
• Support Looker/Sigma platforms, governance, and production reliability.
• Contribute to incident response, debugging and platform improvements.
