Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Software Engineer on the Core BI team to build and operate backend services, APIs and platform tooling for BI platforms used across DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt. Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend, platform or infrastructure systems.
• Proficient in Python, SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience building and owning APIs, integrations or automation in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and operate the backend services, APIs and automation that the BI platforms across DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt depend on.
• Automate the platform lifecycle end to end (provisioning, metadata, permissions, migrations, archival and validation).
• Build integrations between BI platforms and the wider ecosystem: warehouses, identity providers, orchestration, CI/CD and internal developer tooling.
• Improve availability, observability, performance, scalability and security of the systems you own, and carry them in production.
• Use AI tooling as part of how you engineer, building LLM-backed capabilities with reliability and governance.
• Raise the engineering bar on the team, including design reviews, testing, CI/CD and developer experience.
