Deliveroo is seeking a BI Engineer in London to build and operate scalable BI platforms and self-serve tooling. You will own semantic layers, work across Looker, Sigma, and dbt, and collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Product managers to deliver trusted data at scale.

The role offers a hybrid London setup with regular in-office collaboration, challenging problems, and opportunities to shape a unified BI stack across a fast-growing marketplace.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in BI/analytics engineering or similar data role.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with AI tooling experience is a plus.
• Hands-on Looker (LookML) or Sigma, beyond dashboards.
• Experience with semantic/metrics layers (LookML, dbt, etc.).
• Experience in production: version control, code review, CI.
• Excellent communication in a fast-paced, distributed team.

Aufgaben

• Own and evolve semantic layer behind BI platforms (LookML, Canvas BI).
• Build and operate Looker and Sigma platforms: config, permissions, lifecycle.
• Lead self-serve tooling to reduce manual BI administration.
• Support BI migrations across brands while guarding data governance.
• Participate in production support, debugging and incident response.
• Champion standards for CI, testing and safe, repeatable releases.
