Job summary

Stanton House is supporting a private equity-backed financial services organisation seeking an Analytics Engineer to own and evolve the data platform on a 6-month contract. You will build trusted data foundations, define core metrics, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver timely, actionable insights.

In a greenfield-style environment, you will design data models in a cloud warehouse, standardise definitions, and automate reporting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouses.
• Advanced SQL and data warehousing experience.
• Experience with Alteryx.
• Proven track record delivering accurate data quality improvements.
• Experience consolidating data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models within a cloud data warehouse.
• Establish consistent business definitions and trusted reporting standards.
• Investigate data-quality issues and implement fixes.
• Design and optimise data ingestion from multiple source systems.
• Build management information reporting for senior leadership.
• Support point-in-time and historical reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable data solutions.
• Contribute to data governance and best practices as the data function matures.
