Job summary

Stanton House is supporting a private equity-backed financial services organisation seeking an Analytics Engineer to own and evolve the data platform on a 6-month contract. You will build trusted data foundations, define core metrics, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver timely, actionable insights.

In a greenfield-style environment, you will design data models in a cloud warehouse, standardise definitions, and automate reporting.

Stanton House is currently supporting a private equity-backed financial services organisation that is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join on an initial 6-month contract. Having recently invested in its data capabilities, the business is looking to bring ownership of its data platform in-house and establish the foundations for a scalable, reliable, and commercially focused data function.

Overview:

Working closely with operational and technology stakeholders, you will sit at the intersection of business and data, helping the organisation improve the quality, consistency, and accessibility of its key management information.

The role is focused on building trusted data foundations , you will be responsible for defining core business metrics, investigating and resolving data-quality issues, improving reporting processes, and ensuring senior leadership can rely on accurate and timely information for decision-making.

This requires someone who can engage confidently with senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and translate reporting requirements into practical data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
