Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an experienced Senior Scientist, Analytical Lead at its Moreton site to lead GMP stability operations and drive analytical project delivery. You will coordinate validation, support technology transfers, and bridge QA with project stakeholders in a regulated environment.

The role emphasises coaching of scientific staff, maintaining strict compliance, and delivering improvements that sharpen credibility across the industry.

Qualifications

• A degree in analytical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry or a related field (BSc or higher).
• Hands‑on experience leading or coordinating GMP stability operations across API/drug product forms.
• Strong working knowledge of cGMP, data integrity and inspection readiness.
• Experience with HPLC, KF, dissolution and analytical method validation.
• A track record juggling multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders without dropping the ball.
• The confidence to operate with minimal supervision and the judgment to elevate when needed.
• A natural ability to coach and influence colleagues to work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Leading GMP Stability Operations from development through clinical-stage products with end‑to‑end ownership.
• Coordinating analytical activities across deliverables, authoring/ reviewing validation protocols and reports.
• Coaching, guiding and coordinating scientific staff to implement consistent ways of working.
• Owning compliance and audit readiness to ensure inspection‑readiness and regulatory fluency.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in stability operations, analytics, and efficiency.
