Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a GMP Laboratory Operations Lead for Building 6 at the Moreton site. You will connect Analytical Leadership & Testing, Long Term Stability, and Marketed Life Stability into a high‑performing unit, ensuring safety, readiness, and audit preparedness.

You’ll lead cross‑functional discussions, coach scientists, and drive continuous improvement across labs, operations, EHS, and quality in a dynamic, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Solid GMP laboratory experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience working across complex, matrixed organisations.
• Genuine passion for safety and safety culture.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Experience driving change and improvement.
• A scientific degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the Building 6 Laboratory Leadership Team (ALT, LTS, MLS) to align priorities and enable cross‑functional decisions.
• Coordinate equipment qualification, calibration and maintenance around operational needs.
• Deliver hands-on training for new analytical techniques to scientists.
• Coach early-career scientists taking on safety reps roles.
• Lead cross-functional discussions to translate near-miss learnings into improvements.
• Prepare teams for upcoming regulatory inspections with a culture of readiness.
